As owner of Erica Gail LLC, Erica Smith oversees the interior design of Bennett Day School's flagship campus in the Fulton Market area of downtown Chicago.  With a love for color, texture, and proportion, Erica selected all the interior elements including all finishes, furnishings, lighting, floorcovering, wallcovering, colors, and more.  The design was conceived to further the school's progressive educational approach, incorporating bold color and movement through innovative wall stripes, carpet layout, and creative interior/exterior signage.

Erica is available to assist in your educational project as a design consultant to ensure your space complements your educational mission.  She has worked for nearly 20 years in interior design, delivering her design and project management expertise to every new project regardless of scope. 

 

After graduating from University of Pennsylvania with degrees in International Studies and Business, Erica completed a degree at New York School of Interior Design while assisting designers in Manhattan on luxury residential projects.  Continuing that work in Chicago since 2005, Erica has continually refined her repertoire of design influences and resources in order to develop designs in a wide range of styles.
